3rd Day--> 25th May 2009 Sightseeing on the Bus and Walking Tour..Believe it or Not!

I look forward to everyday's breakfast as they offered my favourite chocolate Croissants

What a cold day! That day was the most chilly day Ive ever experienced..Checked the weather forecast on TV and it was like 11C... a jacket and scarf doesnt keep me warm still..fortunately i brought gloves along..went to the Charing Cross Station

We made our way to the Original Bus Sightseeing Tour office..after so much effort of getting lost on the streets and brushing through cold wind and heavy rain..it was located somewhere near Trafalagar Square..the map looked so simple but is so different to find..and upon collecting our ticket, we need to find the office to collect our London Pass(only to realise London Pass is not exactly useful to us as we only used it once!)

Yeah! Found the 1st stop

Our 2nd stop!
Damage by the weather

We started our journey on the Original Bus Sightseeing Tour and being adventurous, we took the seats not sheltered from the rain..hoping to get some fantastic views..the guide was pretty entertaining..he gave us very vivid descriptions of the landmarks and monuments we came across..the system works liek this..you can hop on and hop off the bus at any of their designated bus stops, which are usually located near main attractions.

So there it goes, photo-snapping time...

Posh Car
Gold CAB
Marble Arch

Hyde Park

Rich Man's hangout

Trafalagar Square
Museum

Is too much to cover in a day I feel...we are like so torn apart..in terms of the time we spent at each attraction..In the end, we stayed on the bus for one entire round to view all the famous attractions from the bus..den alight at some stops..a bad thing abt this system is the bus frequency aint frequent enuf and attractions close very EARLY! so we gotta beat time!...we still managed to visit St.Paul's Cathedral and even found a shop that sold cheap Sports stuff and jerseys..

Golden Monument
Police on horses
Inside St. Paul's Cathedral

Outside St.Paul 's Cathedral

Near Buckingham Palace...we didnt catch the guards changing ceremony though

Our BusI like the color of this cab

The OXO Tower

Beneath Tower Bridge

Skyline

London Dungeon for some Theme Park activities
Gloomy weather

Visited the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum. They were so huge...I didnt know museums can be that big as compared to what I saw from my own country's haha.. I personally like the Natural History Museum cuz it tells a lot from its exhibits and displays were an eye opener!

V&A Museum

T.rex is here to rock!!

All about dinosaurs

Insect World

Our Lunch

This tastes very yummy..an interesting dish of salmon and veggies combined as one

Dodos from Mauritius?

So much bigger than those in lab

Kobe earthquake..They even have a stimulation area to mimic the degree of earthquake in one of the exhibits

And then, we made our way to the Buckingham Palace. not to catch the guards changing ceremony but to take some snapshots outside the palace. But before that, we stopped over at Hard Rock Cafe..said to be the 1st branch that opened among other outlets..and just nice, the museum was open for visiting during that time when we visited..

Glamors in Hard Rock Cafe

So many people crowding outside when we reach..like waiting patiently to see if the Queen comes out to say Hi...well I must say the palace has very good defence..and beautiful scenery..is huge enuf..

Outside the Palace

Beautiful Parks nearby...just a great time to have a stroll..

Posh Car Z4 spotted!
What's next? Oxford Street for some shopping..time was earlie and we hurried to go there lest the shops closed again!...Is a pity when shops close so earlie and their daylight hours are so long..I can see daylight even at 8pm..and we visited Hamley as well..a very kawaii place..

Fake T-Rex
Im still having shivers when seeing Teletubbies

Cute Poodle

Flying Pig and Flying Cow..not cheap..take pics to save in my memory is good enough haha!

So shopping is our itinerary while in search for a cool place to spend our night watching the Man U Vs Barcelona match the next day.. We found one near Buckhingham Palace though haha..After shops more or less closed already, we made our way to Ripley Museum- Believe it or not! What a visit..Both of us were awakened by the sheer number of mysteries and unbelievable matters/ animals/ people..that are happening in the world..imagine a person with 2 pupils in each of his eye socket.....how about a guy with a unicorn head? or a guy who can covers his nose with mouth??...and a cow with 5 legs..???

The Cow with 5 legs!Am I too tired or what? Where's the source of the water??

World's heaviest man!

Marilyn Monroe..a unforgettable idol!
Kinda scary when I went close to it..Man with 2 pupils in each eye socket
This is for Real~~no photograph edits over here

Tower Bridge in Matches

Growth abnormalities in animals rendered them popularity

Makes it hard to believe until I see the historical records , the exhibits and the video clip..we enjoyed ourselves there..and almost get lost in a Mirror Maze, new feature of the museum..making use of mirror effect and darkness and spotlight..letting us to fish around in search for the exit..got away in like 30mins time..i tot we wun get it through haha

Meal Time at 10pm!

Call it for the night with a proper meal after eating bits during the day
..totally exhausted but a satsifying day of sightseeing!
